Free pattern Christmas Bells squares

Did I tell you that Christmas is my absolute favourite time of the  year? I just can´t help myself. Even though the wet and cold weather is really bad for my Fibromyalgia, I have noticed that the spirit and magic of Christmas always gives me restored energy and keeps my spirit happy. So as I am watching tons of Christmas movies I am also designing all kinds of new Christmas designs. And since Christmas is a time of giving, I have decided to share all the designs that I am making this month for free. So yes, here is another free design. 

The kids decided that we needed a Christmas blanket. But ofcourse one in the colours which we all like so much and fits our home. I came up with these Christmas Balls squares to make us a Christmassy but also colourful blanket. The yarn that I´ve used is Missisippi 3 from Katia Yarns. The golden yarn is the Glam from Durable. 

I want to share the pattern of these squares with you, so you can make yourself a blanket too. Or may be a cushion?

Just scroll down for the terms which you prefer. It is written in Dutch, English UK and English US. BUT before you start, read carefully:

Make sure to start each row with 1ch. This 1ch doesn´t count as a stitch. It helps you to get highth, so you don´t have to start with a 2 or 3ch as first stitch. It looks much prettier this way. Then end each row with a sl.stitch in the first stitch of the previous row. So NOT in the 1ch which you started your row with. The gold is simly sewed on over 2x4 stitches.

Toer 1: 12stk in een magische ring (12)

Toer 3: 2stk in elke 2e steek (36)

Toer 4: 2stk in elke 3e steek (48)

Toer 5: 1stk in elke steek (48) Hecht nu aan met wit.

Toer 6: 1hstk in de volgende 7 steken, 1stk, (2stk, 2L, 2stk) in dezelfde steek,*1stk, 1hstk in de volgende 9 steken, 1stk, (2stk, 2L, 2stk)* Herhaal *..* nog twee keer, 1stk, 1hstk in de laatste twee steken. (60)

Toer 7: 1stk in de volgende 10 steken, in de hoek (2stk, 2L, 2stk), *Volgende steek overslaan, 1stk in de volgende 14 steken, in de hoek (2stk, 2L, 2stk)* Herhaal *..* nog twee keer, 1stk in de volgende vier steken. (72)

Toer 8: 1stk in de volgende 12 steken, in de hoek (2stk, 2L, 2stk) *Volgende steek overslaan, 1stk in de volgende 17 steken, in de hoek (2stk, 2L, 2stk)* Herhaal *..* nog twee keer, 5stk. (84)
