Free pattern Valentine pouch

Happy (belated) new year to all of you! 

These past two months  have been so super busy. All with fun things thankfully. During Christmas holidays I didn't do much crochet as I was spending tons of quality time with my family. We all enjoyed it to the max. 

As I was thinking about what to give our girls for Valentines Day, I came up with these little pouches. They are really easy to crochet and you can make a bunch of them in no time. Stuff them with little sweets, chocolates, or a soap bar for example. The pattern which can be found down here (just scroll down), is written in Dutch, English UK and English US.

The yarn that I've used for this pouch is Durable Coral and Durable Glam.

Pattern Dutch:

Je haakt twee lapjes. Voor de voorkant maak je gebruik van de kleurwissel. Je start elke toer met wit. Als je de achterkant haakt, kun je gewoon alles in het wit haken en negeer je de kleurwissel. Start elke toer met 1L. Deze telt niet als steek!

Start met een losse ketting van 22L.

Toer 1: Sla de eerste losse over en haak 21v

Toer 2t/m 4: 21v

Toer 5: 10v, kleurwissel roze, 1v, kleurwissel wit, 10v 

Toer 6: 9v, kleurwissel roze, 3v, kleurwissel wit, 9v

Toer 7: 8v, kleurwissel roze, 5v, kleurwissel wit, 8v

Toer 8: 7v, kleurwissel roze, 7v, kleurwissel wit, 7v

Toer 9: 6v, kleurwissel roze, 9v, kleurwissel wit, 6v

Toer 10: 5v, kleurwissel roze, 11v, kleurwissel wit, 5v

Toer 11: 4v, kleurwissel roze, 13v, kleurwissel wit, 4v

Toer 12 t/m 14: 3v, kleurwissel roze, 15v, kleurwissel wit, 3v

Toer 15: 4v, kleurwissel roze, 6v, kleurwissel wit, 1v, kleurwissel roze, 6v, kleurwissel wit, 4v

Toer 16: 5v, kleurwissel roze, 4v, kleurwissel wit, 3v, kleurwissel roze, 4v, kleurwissel wit, 5v

Toer 17 t/m 23: 21v

Toer 24: 4L, 1 steek overslaan, 1stk, *1 steek overslaan, 1stk* Herhaal *..* tot eind

Toer 25 t/m 29: 21v

Als je beide lapjes hebt gemaakt, leg je ze op elkaar en naai je ze aan elkaar vast. Het mooiste is om dit aan de binnenkant te doen. Haak nog een losse ketting van ongeveer 70L en rijg dit lusje door de openingen van toer 24. Een strikje erin en klaar! Wil je ook de kleine hartjes erbij haken? Pattern English UK

You have to crochet two parts. The front and the back. For the front, you start each row with white and do the colour changes in any colour you'd like. For the back, you can ignore the colour change and crochet everything in white. Start each row with a 1ch, this doesn't count as a stitch! 

Start with a 22ch. 

Row 1: Skip first stitch, 21dc

Row 2/3/4: 21dc

Row 5: 10dc, colour change pink, 1dc, colour change white, 10dc

Row 6: 9dc, colour change pink, 3dc, colour change white, 9dc

Row 7: 8dc, colour change pink, 5dc, colour change white, 8dc

Row 8: 7dc, colour change pink, 7dc, colour change white, 7dc

Row 9: 6dc, colour change pink, 9dc, colour change white, 6dc

Row 10: 5dc, colour change pink, 11dc, colour change white, 5dc

Row 11: 4dc, colour change pink, 13dc, colour change white, 4dc

Row 12/13/14: 3dc, colour change pink, 15dc, colour change white, 3dc

Row 15: 4dc, colour change pink, 6dc, colour change white, 1dc, colour change pink, 6dc, colour change white, 4dc

Row 16: 5dc, colour change pink, 4dc, colour change white, 3dc, colour change pink, 4dc, colour change white, 5dc

Row 17 until 23: 21dc

Row 24: 4ch, skip next stitch, 1tr, *skip next stitch, 1tr* Repeat *..* till end.

Row 25 until 29: 21dc

When you crocheted both sides, lay them on top of eachother and sew the sides and bottom together. Best way to do this is sewing on the inside. Looks much better. Make a 70ch and weave through the open spaces which you've made at row 24. If you would like to also crochet the litte hearts, you can make them by crocheting only the first row of these Valentine Hearts.
